If you've been following me on Instagram (if not, it's never too late!) you already know that I've had one heck of a summer vacation last 2015 when I spent three weeks in America. One of the highlights of my stay there was going to Lollapalooza, a 3-day music festival held during summertime in Chicago, IL. To share how amazing my FIRST music fest experience was, I decided to make a magazine out of it. See the rest of the pages under the break!
(Feel free to click the photos to view them better.)
While I've been to Chicago a couple of times, I only got the chance to attend Lolla in 2015 because it was only then that my school break actually matched with the annual schedule of the music fest. (Oh hey, something good actually came out of the academic shift hahaha!)
To give credits to where they're due-- the design of the 'zine was heavily inspired by Scout magazine. The fonts I used were Lemon/Milk, Nexa Bold, and Biko. And if you haven't noticed, the color scheme was black, white and 2016 Pantone Color of the Year: Rose Quartz and Serenity! Most importantly, all photos used in this magazine belong to yours truly.
Did you guys enjoy reading through the Lolla mag? I sure hope you did! I know I definitely had fun reliving my experience and making this magazine. Also, do you guys think I should make more posts in this manner? Sound off in the comments below!
Special thanks to Uncle Garry for taking us to Lollapalooza!
