Take it to the Streets

Contrary to the meaning of the idiomatic title, I actually don't have any problem. In fact, I'm happy that I finally got to shoot two outfits during APEC week (see the first one here)! In case you haven't noticed, I have become inclined to wearing neutral colors and basic pieces lately.

When wearing basic items, it's not hard to look like everyone else; this is why accessorizing is important. Sure, mixing and matching clothes works too, but the easier way to set your self apart with your accessories. Most people say "less is more", but I don't think that's an absolute rule. For this outfit, I decided to up my jewelry game by wearing mostly gold bling from Born Pretty Store.

I'm actually not much of a necklace person, but I fell in love with the arrow necklace. Besides its minimalist look, I think I liked it because I felt like it also stands for me being an Archer hehe.

As for the rings, I decided to mix my set of 5 gold rings, and the eye ring. The gold rings don't fade when I wear them; but the downside is they're pretty much all in the same size so I can't wear them as midi rings on my thin fingers lol.
